Exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with Commodities Trading experience, to join this global Energy company.

Location: London - working from the Central London office, 3 days per week.

About The Role:

* Senior Project Manager, operating as the right-hand of the Portfolio Manager for a very large change programme looking at pre-trade analytics

* Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all aspects of the project lifecycle.

* Rigorously manage scope through a structured change management process to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters with focus on delivering the business benefits.

* Create and validate financial forecasts and provide ongoing reconciliation of resources and expenditures.

* Proactively analyse risks and variances against plan to assess trends threatening agreed scope, time, cost, and quality commitments. Identify signs that a project may be at risk and escalate quickly and appropriately.

Your Background Needs To Include:

* Senior PM, likely to have over 10 years of experience.

* Experience working within the Commodities Trading sector is absolutely essential.

* Must have domain knowledge of Trading.

* Previous experience of Fundamentals data is highly advantageous.

* Not hesitant to look for transformation in ways of working but can introduce the concepts sensitively

* Ability to positively engage a variety of stakeholders.

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
