Job description

We are working with a UK law firm based in Belfast for an Associate / Senior Associate to join their Major Injury & Casualty Claims team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join an expanded Major Injury & Casualty Claims team, managing a diverse caseload of litigated employer’s liability, public liability, casualty, disease and serious injury claims.

Responsibilities include handling matters from inception to resolution, conducting detailed investigations, liaising with experts and witnesses, drafting pleadings and settlement documentations, and representing clients in court proceedings and negotiations.

Essential Criteria:

• 0-10 years’ PQE;
• Personal injury / insurance litigation background;
• Experience handling a varied caseload;
• Commercial awareness;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Technically excellent.
