Senior Research Manager
West Midlands - Hybrid (2-3 days per week)
£45,000-£50,000
This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead role within a high‑performing insights team, where you will drive brand and communications research for major consumer brands. The Role
• Lead quantitative brand and communications projects from brief to delivery.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and act as a trusted insights partner.
• Develop compelling, commercially focused insights that inform brand and marketing strategy.
• Take ownership of timelines, budgets and project quality.
• Present clear stories and recommendations that influence senior decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver robust, innovative research solutions.
• Support and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to team development.
• Drive a positive, proactive working culture.
Your Skills and Experience
• Strong commercial experience in quantitative research, with a focus on brand and communications.
• Hands‑on experience managing full research cycles, including design, fieldwork oversight, analysis and debriefing.
• Proven ability to translate data into strategic, actionable insights.
• Confident client management skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience leading debriefs.
• A collaborative mindset and an interest in supporting junior team members.
• A genuine passion for brands, consumers and evidence‑led storytelling.
