URGENT HIRE – Estimator (Contract)

London | Contract | Major Construction Projects

We are urgently seeking an experienced Estimator to support a major contractor delivering multi-million-pound construction projects, including large, high-profile sports and stadium developments based in London. This is a hands-on delivery role suited to a commercially astute estimator with a strong background in major works.

Scope of Experience

Candidates must come from at least one of the following sectors:

• Civils & Groundworks
• Structures / Concrete / RC Frames
• Steelwork
• M&E / Building Services

Key Responsibilities

• Leading full estimating duties on large, complex tenders
• Preparing detailed cost plans, take-offs, and tender submissions
• Interrogating drawings, specifications, and employer’s requirements
• Engaging with supply chain for pricing, value engineering, and risk review
• Supporting bid strategy, commercial assumptions, and programme alignment
• Working closely with pre-construction, commercial, and delivery teams

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator on major construction projects
• Track record working on £multi-million schemes
• Strong technical understanding within civils, structures, steel, or M&E
• Confident managing tender processes end-to-end
• Able to operate in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
