The Role: Senior Legal Counsel

The Client: Asset Manager

The Location: London (Hybrid)

An exceptional opportunity to join a truly global Asset Manager within their Retail Funds Legal team in London. You will be playing a pivotal role supporting a broad range of retail investment products, utilising your MIFID & UCITS knowledge to ensure the funds perform as desired! This role would be well suited to a Funds Lawyer in PP, an Asset Manager, or a Wealth Management platform.

The Role:

• Providing legal support on the structuring, management and distribution of UK & EU retail funds, including UCITS
• Monitoring and advising on all regulatory developments to ensure the business can respond to any issues
• Drafting and negotiating fund related documents
• Working closely with other teams to ensure governance standards
• Acting as the primary liaison with internal & external stakeholders including regulators

Prior Experience:

• 5+ years PQE England & Wales Qualified Lawyer
• UCITS & MIFID understanding and experience is a must
• Retail Funds and distribution experience is key
