NetSuite Functional Consultant

Location: Fully Remote (UK based)

Contract Length: Initial 3 months

Commitment: 4–5 days per week

Overview

We are supporting a fast-growing start-up that is using NetSuite as its core system of record and requires a hands-on Technical NetSuite Integration Consultant to stabilise and align integrations across its warehouse and eCommerce landscape.

The business operates across the UK and US and needs a consultant who can take ownership of integrations between NetSuite, Shopify, and multiple warehouse / WMS platforms, while assessing and optimising the wider NetSuite environment.

This is a technical delivery role rather than a functional or advisory position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support integrations between NetSuite and UK/US warehouse and WMS platforms
• Ensure NetSuite is the single source of truth for inventory and operational data
• Assess existing integration approaches and recommend improvements
• Work with both native NetSuite tools and non-native / third-party middleware as appropriate
• Write and maintain SuiteScript (2.x) for integrations, automation, and custom logic
• Work with REST and SOAP APIs to manage data synchronisation and error handling
• Deliver an overall NetSuite system assessment, highlighting risks, gaps, and optimisation opportunities
• Provide hands-on support to the wider business as NetSuite is embedded into day-to-day operations

Required Experience

• Strong technical NetSuite background
• Proven experience writing SuiteScript (2.x)
• Solid understanding of API-based integrations (REST / SOAP)
• Experience integrating NetSuite with WMS / warehouse systems
• Experience working with Shopify integrations
• Comfortable operating in a start-up or evolving environment
• Able to work autonomously and take ownership of technical delivery
