We are working with a market-leading national practice who are seeking a Senior Solicitor to join their Employee Incentives & Private Capital practice within their London office.
The Role
The successful candidate will join an esteemed Incentives team, advising on all aspects of the design, implementation, and operation of reward structures and equity incentive plans. Responsibilities will include advising on the design and implementation of Long-Term Incentive Plans (LTIPs), establishing and managing employee benefit trusts, tax-advantaged UK employee share option plans, including EMI, SAYE, and SIP, and creating alternative structures for clients unable to operate qualifying share plans. The candidate will also advise remuneration committees on management incentive issues.
The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives, while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria:
- 4+ PQE;
- Strong background in reward structures and equity incentive plans within a medium to large commercial practice;
- Outstanding academics;
- Technically excellent;
- Negotiation skills;
- Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
