Role Overview
As Senior Market Access Manager (UK), you will be responsible for developing and implementing national access strategies to support sustainable growth within the UK healthcare landscape. This is a strategic position requiring close engagement with NHS stakeholders, policy influencers, and internal cross-functional teams.
You will play a key role in shaping reimbursement pathways, supporting new product introductions, and ensuring alignment between clinical value, health economic evidence, and funding frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver UK market access strategies aligned with business objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with NHS organisations, commissioning bodies, and policy stakeholders
- Lead reimbursement and funding initiatives to support broader patient access
- Support national and regional access planning for product launches
- Contribute to health economic value propositions and evidence generation strategies
- Collaborate with commercial, medical, and regulatory teams to ensure cohesive market access execution
- Deliver training and education to relevant internal and external stakeholders
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be a commercially astute and strategically minded Market Access professional with strong experience navigating the UK healthcare system.
- Demonstrated Market Access experience within pharmaceutical or medical device sectors
- In-depth understanding of NHS structures, commissioning processes, and reimbursement mechanisms
- Experience developing health economic and value-based arguments
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across clinical and policy environments
- Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities
- Able to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic healthcare landscape
- Based in Southern England, with flexibility to travel across the UK
