About Kathaka

Kathaka is a London, UK based single-family office with a multi-faceted investment mandate, including:

The investment team is looking to add an Investor to support the team’s operations and diligence efforts. This role would report directly to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and have direct exposure to Investment Committee (IC) meetings and presentations, including the family principal(s).

We are looking for an intellectually rigorous, entrepreneurial self-starter with a deep curiosity about businesses, capital allocation, and the drivers of long-term value creation. The ideal candidate demonstrates a skeptical mindset, strong independent judgment, and comfort operating with incomplete information.

  • Lead workstreams and contribute to the diligence process evaluating new investments and initiatives
  • Review and summarize company financials identifying key drivers relating to a company and/or platform’s strategy
  • Lead diligence calls with management teams
  • Build integrated three-statement financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analyses, to support internal underwriting and decision-making
  • Build and maintain liquidation models for new and current investments
  • Manage pipeline of investment opportunities and prepare weekly update materials

Qualifications

  • 5 – 10 years of experience at top-tier investment banking, strategy consulting, private equity, venture capital, and/or high-quality operating environments, with at least 2+ years of direct investing or buyside experience
  • Excellent due diligence and transaction management skills with ability to support the full lifecycle of a transaction
  • Experience evaluating or working with healthcare services, healthcare technology, or regulated industry business models, including familiarity with reimbursement structures, unit economics, and key sector-specific performance drivers.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with capacity to facilitate meetings and presentations to senior executives
  • CFA candidacy or other evidence of strong academic orientation and technical financial training required
