Job description

I am working with a Global Insurance company that is seeking to hire a Senior Treaty Analyst to join their dynamic Risk Finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an analytically minded professional to play a key role in the management, analysis and administration of their reinsurance treaty programs.

As a Senior Treaty Analyst, you’ll work closely with the Directors of Risk Financing, Senior Treaty Managers and a broad network of internal and external stakeholders. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to build expertise in the evolving world of treaty reinsurance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Contribute to the design, structuring and renewal of proportional and non‑proportional treaty programs.
  • Prepare submission materials, gather exposure and loss data and support analytical work that informs treaty pricing and structure.
  • Support the day‑to‑day management of treaty contracts, including reviewing terms, maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Compile, analyse and interpret underwriting, loss and financial data to produce insights that guide treaty placement and renewal decisions.
  • Build strong working relationships with reinsurers, brokers, underwriters and other internal teams.
  • Assist with negotiations and maintain open lines of communication throughout the treaty lifecycle.
  • Help coordinate treaty renewals, prepare presentations, gather underwriting information and track delivery against key milestones.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies across exposures, premiums, recoveries, or claims, escalating more complex matters when necessary.
  • Ensure treaty documentation is accurate, complete and properly stored.
  • Support monitoring of compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Participate in projects aimed at streamlining processes, improving data quality and enhancing overall treaty management efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, or a related field—or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of treaty reinsurance structures, concepts and contracts
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data‑analysis tools
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment
