Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Central London

Salary: Up to £85,000 + package

An established, high-quality main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their business, delivering complex fit out and refurbishment schemes across Central London. The team specialises in projects up to £5 million, operating in live and constrained environments, with a strong reputation for quality, collaboration, and repeat client relationships.

The Role

You will take commercial ownership of multiple fit out and refurbishment projects, from pre-contract through to final account, working closely with project teams and clients to ensure successful commercial outcomes. Ideal candidates will have experience in two stage.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full commercial management of fit out and refurbishment projects up to £5m
• Procurement and management of subcontract packages
• Cost planning, forecasting, and reporting
• Valuations, variations, and change control
• Subcontractor account management and final accounts
• Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff where required.

About You

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contracting environment
• Strong background in fit out and refurbishment projects (commercial, residential, or mixed-use)
• Comfortable managing multiple fast-paced projects in Central London
• Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and confident dealing with clients and supply chain
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
