Job description
We are working with a leading global law firm to recruit an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Corporate & Finance – Corporate Insurance team in London.
This role offers exposure to high-value, complex insurance transactions across Europe, including public and private M&A, Part VII transfers, cross-border deals, portfolio acquisitions, reinsurance arrangements and corporate governance matters.
The team advises across all key insurance sectors, including life and general insurance, Lloyd’s market participants, run-off and consolidation businesses, and emerging InsurTech collaborations.
The Role:
- Manage matters and transactions with appropriate supervision
- Deliver high-quality, commercial legal advice
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Contribute to business development and team growth
- Stay informed on legal, regulatory and market developments
About You
- Qualified lawyer with 2–7 years’ PQE (or equivalent)
- Corporate insurance experience from a top-tier or well-regarded firm
- Strong academic background (minimum 2:1 degree)
- Excellent drafting, communication and technical skills
