Funds Formation Associate – London -Cravath Pay Scale

A top-tier US law firm is seeking to hire a Funds Formation Associate into its London office, joining a market-leading private funds platform advising some of the world’s most sophisticated private capital sponsors.

The role

• Advising private equity and alternative asset managers on the formation of closed-ended funds, co-investment vehicles and related structures
• Drafting and negotiating core fund documentation, including LPAs, side letters and subscription materials
• Working closely with sponsors, institutional investors and internal tax, regulatory and transactional teams
• Supporting complex fundraises, first-time funds and GP-led / continuation vehicles

The ideal candidate

• England & Wales qualified (or equivalent)- 2–5 PQE
• Strong funds formation experience is required from a leading US or top-tier international firm
• Commercial, detail-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, sponsor-focused practice
• Ambitious, driven and motivated by working at the top end of the private funds market
