The Opportunity

A growing national law firm is looking to appoint a talented mid-level Corporate Lawyer to join its expanding Bristol team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, ambitious and well-connected corporate practice working on high-quality transactions across a national platform.

The Role

You will be involved in the full range of corporate work, including:

• Mergers & acquisitions (buy and sell-side)
• Shareholders’ agreements
• Corporate restructurings
• Joint ventures
• Venture capital and private equity transactions

The Corporate team works seamlessly across offices, so you will be a strong team player who enjoys collaborating across jurisdictions and practice areas.

You’ll be encouraged to network and develop your own client relationships, with active support in both business development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver consistently high-quality legal advice and exemplary client service
• Run and manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Drive business development initiatives to retain existing clients and build new relationships
• Maintain up-to-date technical expertise across corporate law
• Take ownership of your professional development, continuously strengthening both technical and interpersonal skills

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years’ PQE with directly relevant corporate experience
• Strong experience across M&A and general corporate matters
• Commercially astute, with a genuine understanding of clients’ businesses and industries
• Proven ability to manage matters efficiently and meet client expectations
• Strong financial awareness and sound case management skills
