This is a site based role at Leiston, Suffolk
Key Responsibilities
- Support contract partners to deliver civil works packages efficiently and safely
- Plan and implement tactical and detailed logistics for allocated work sections
- Monitor site activities and contribute to daily construction reporting
- Identify safety or quality risks and recommend proportionate mitigation measures
- Coordinate with H&S, logistics, commercial and project controls teams
- Attend and input into PLOD/PLOW and pre-start meetings
- Carry out safety and assurance inspections aligned to project KPIs
- Escalate issues clearly to the Senior Construction Delivery Manager
- Maintain strong client and stakeholder communication
- Ensure compliance with authority conditions and obligations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in construction sequencing, recovery planning and resourcing
- Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and site obligations
- Background in civil or construction project delivery
- Ability to produce clear, concise technical and progress reports
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent)
- SMSTS or IOSH certification
- Collaborative, results-focused mindset with high personal accountability
- Comfortable working under pressure in complex environments
