Legal Counsel (Commercial/Tech), Investment Manager

The Client:

A leading investment manager is looking for an 3+ PQE commercial/tech lawyer to join their legal team. Working autonomously, you will be responsible for a range of legal matters across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including tech contracts, supplier agreements. Vendor contracts, licensing agreements, and customer terms and conditions.
• Working with the AI lead supporting with a range of matters
• Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic advice to mitigate these risks, ensuring the company’s operations align with legal requirements.
• Working in multidisciplinary teams across various departments, including product development, data protection, ensuring that all business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will be a 3+ PQE Corporate and/or commercial lawyer, preferably with experience in a law firm, or financial services firm.
• Excellent contract negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.

*Candidates outside of this PQE with the prerequisite experience will be considered for this role
