Event Manager

COREcruitment Ltd is looking for a Event Manager

Job description

We are working with a highly regarded destination events and wedding venue to find an experienced and energetic Event Manager to join their senior operations team.

Set within a breathtaking countryside estate, this venue is known for delivering standout weddings, celebrations, and corporate events, with a reputation built on exceptional service, attention to detail, and unforgettable guest experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for an events professional who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and enjoys seeing an event through from planning to flawless delivery.

Please note: This is a destination venue so the ability to drive / having a car is a must for this role.

The Role

As Event Manager, you will take ownership of live event delivery across weddings, private celebrations, and corporate functions, ensuring every occasion runs seamlessly and exceeds expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the on-site coordination and execution of weddings, celebrations, and corporate events
  • Managing all event logistics including room setup, catering flow, entertainment, and technical requirements
  • Working closely with sales and planning teams to fully understand client expectations and translate these into exceptional on-the-day experiences
  • Driving bar and service-led upsell opportunities while maintaining outstanding guest satisfaction
  • Leading, briefing, and motivating event teams to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Maintaining detailed schedules, budgets, and operational plans
  • Acting as the main point of contact during events, resolving issues swiftly and professionally
  • Reviewing post-event feedback and identifying opportunities to continuously enhance the guest journey

About You

This role would suit a confident, organised Event Manager with a background in hospitality-led events who enjoys responsibility and variety.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience managing events within a wedding venue, hotel, hospitality, or events setting
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to lead teams on the floor
  • A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
  • A proactive mindset and flexibility to adapt to changing event demands

What’s on Offer

  • Salary of £33,000 – £35,000 plus performance-related bonus
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Pension scheme
  • Enhanced holiday entitlement with length of service
  • Staff discounts on food, drink, and overnight stays
  • Uniform provided for guest-facing shifts
  • Free on-site parking
  • Referral incentives and long-service recognition
  • Regular team events and ongoing training opportunities

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a venue where quality, service, and team culture are genuinely valued, and where your passion for events can truly shine.
