Security Architect

Outside IR35 - Initial 6 month Contract

1 day a week in Central London

Requires Active SC clearance

Ideally starting within next 2/3 weeks (flexible)

Central Government Experience

We have a number of Security Architect positions working with large central government client. You'll need to be able to commit to working in Central London 1 day a week.

Job Requirements:

• Work with project teams to understand product requirements and delivery milestones.
• Conduct threat modelling to identify security risks across applications, integrations, and cloud-based architectures.
• Advise on secure-by-design solutions, including access controls, encryption, network segmentation, and cloud-native technologies (e.g. Containers).
• Support secure development practices through guidance, code review input, and vulnerability assessment.
• Assess risks across technology, processes, and people using frameworks such as ISO 27005 and NIST.
• Review third-party and cloud service provider integrations to ensure appropriate technical and contractual security controls.
• Support incident response planning and vulnerability management.
• Define ITHC scope, coordinate penetration testing activities, and prepare pre-assessment documentation.
