**4 days a week in the office**
The Operations Implementation Associate will support the implementation of investment propositions, oversee daily operations, and ensure accurate and timely reporting. This role requires extensive experience in DC pensions operations, strong technical and regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage complex projects and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute day-to-day operational tasks to maintain high-quality service for UK DC retirement solutions.
- Ensure investment propositions are implemented effectively, adhering to platform and regulatory requirements.
- Manage business-as-usual (BAU) changes, including fund launches, transitions, and other investment-related updates.
- Support delivery of investment proposition developments, including transformational projects to enhance default investment solutions.
- Maintain accurate portfolio data for performance reporting and ensure timely submission of external data.
- Conduct daily portfolio reconciliations and implement trading instructions from the investment team.
- Ensure compliance with FCA investment regulations and other relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., Value for Members, Consumer Duty, Sustainable Disclosure Regulations).
- Assist with commercial calculations and assess the impact of investment change initiatives.
- Prepare clear and accurate materials for clients and internal stakeholders, including steering groups, governance committees, and trustees.
- Liaise closely with internal teams, external providers, and platform partners.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, with a focus on automation, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to projects ensuring compliance with regulatory changes affecting delegated DC investment solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in DC pensions operations or delivery, ideally within an asset manager, provider, or consultancy.
- Strong understanding of investment products, distribution, and UK DC pensions regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and BAU changes in a multi-asset or DC setting.
- Excellent numeracy skills, with experience handling large datasets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); programming skills are advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Commercially minded, able to navigate technical investment challenges.
