Job description
We are partnering with a leading global asset manager to appoint an ETF Sales Manager covering the UK & Ireland. This is a strategically important role within the firm’s specialist ETF distribution team, focused on growing market share and enhancing franchise positioning across professional investors.
Reporting into the Global Head of ETF Sales, the successful individual will take responsibility for driving sales activity, deepening existing client relationships, and positioning the platform as a leading provider of ETF and index-based solutions. The role requires strong technical ETF knowledge, commercial drive, and the ability to operate effectively within a global matrix structure.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Driving growth of the firm’s ETF and index solutions franchise across the UK & Ireland
- Developing and executing a territory sales strategy aligned with defined KPIs
- Building and managing relationships across private banks, asset managers, independent wealth managers, and institutional investors
- Identifying and converting new business opportunities while expanding wallet share within existing accounts
- Positioning the firm as a preferred ETF provider through consultative, solutions-led engagement
- Coordinating closely with local sales colleagues to ensure cohesive client coverage
- Partnering with international ETF specialist teams to leverage broader expertise and product capability
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments, feeding insights into sales leadership
- Contributing to targeted marketing initiatives to support commercial objectives
- Maintaining disciplined CRM processes and pipeline management
The ideal candidate should have:
- Demonstrable ETF sales experience with a strong track record of business development and client retention
- Deep product knowledge across ETFs and index solutions
- Strong understanding of the UK & Ireland wholesale and institutional markets
- Proven ability to manage strategic commercial coverage and build senior client relationships
- Excellent influencing, negotiation, and communication skills
- A high level of energy, resilience, and results orientation
- The ability to work effectively within an international, matrixed environment
