Role Description
The Role (UK-wide, field-based)
You will own and grow a portfolio of UK retail stores — supporting stores on the shopfloor, delivering high-impact product training, improving in-store standards, and opening new accounts.
This role involves regular travel across the UK, overnight stays, and occasional weekend events (baby shows / consumer fairs).
What you’ll do
• Build long-term partnerships with independent retailers and key local accounts across the UK
• Open and onboard new retail partners (from first meeting to first successful sell-out)
• Deliver engaging in-store product training and safety-led demonstrations (staff + shopfloor)
• Drive in-store excellence: visibility, merchandising, materials, and product storytelling
• Represent Avionaut at trade shows and consumer events (some weekends)
• Plan and manage your own visit schedule (efficient routing, high-quality touchpoints)
• Work closely with the UK Country Manager on territory growth priorities
• Gather market feedback (retailer needs, competitor insights, product improvements) and report via CRM
• Achieve agreed targets and quality KPIs
What success looks like (example KPIs)
• Number & quality of store visits and trainings completed (with measurable outcomes)
• New account openings and effective onboarding
• Improved in-store standards (visibility / merchandising / staff confidence)
• Sales growth within your account portfolio (sell-in and/or sell-out where available)
• Event performance and lead conversion
What we’re looking for (Essential)
• Experience in field sales / territory management / retail account management (any premium category welcomed)
• Strong relationship-building and training / presentation skills
• Full UK driving licence and confidence with frequent UK travel & overnight stays
• Self-management: planning, prioritisation, and consistent follow-up
• Professional, responsible, “quality-first” mindset
• Confidence supporting simple content creation (photo/video) — on-camera comfort is a plus
Nice to have
• Background in baby/nursery, juvenile products, or retail training
• Genuine interest in child safety / product engineering
What we offer
• A key role in building Avionaut’s UK growth story — real ownership and impact
• Competitive salary + performance bonus (depending on experience)
• Company car + all business travel expenses covered
• Tools to do the job properly (CRM, phone/iPad – as applicable)
• Strong onboarding into product & safety knowledge
• Two fully covered training weeks per year in Poland (team time + product immersion)
• Supportive, entrepreneurial team culture — high standards, fast decisions, no corporate politics
