Area Sales Representative - Flooring Wholesale
Battle, East Sussex | Field-Based | Full-Time
We are a well-established flooring wholesale company based in Battle, East Sussex, with over 20 years of trading history. Now under new ownership, we are entering an exciting period of growth and expansion and are looking to strengthen our presence across the region.
We are seeking a motivated and personable Flooring Wholesale Field Representative to become the face of our business. This is a field-based role focused on building strong relationships with existing trade customers while actively developing new accounts.
You will be responsible for managing active trade accounts, increasing sales, and promoting our full product range to flooring retailers, contractors, and trade customers.
- Visiting flooring retailers and trade customers across your designated area
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with existing accounts
- Identifying and opening new trade accounts
- Promoting new product lines, offers, and seasonal promotions
- Taking and processing customer orders
- Monitoring competitor activity and market trends
- Working closely with the internal sales and warehouse team
- Representing the company professionally at all times
- Proven experience in the flooring industry (essential)
- Experience in wholesale or trade sales (highly desirable)
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Confident, self-motivated, and target-driven
- Ability to work independently and manage your own region
- Commercially aware with a proactive sales approach
- Full UK driving licence
£25,000 - £30,000
