GoodWe is looking for a Sales Manager for C&I

Job description

Positions title: Sales Manager for C&I – Commercial & Industrial

Location: London (UK), Remote (UK)

Your mission

We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Sales Manager to support our growth in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar sector. In this role, you will identify and develop opportunities for PV, storage, and energy solutions within commercial industries such as manufacturing, logistics, retail, and large commercial facilities. You will work closely with customers and internal technical teams to promote our solutions, expand our footprint, and drive revenue.

Your main responsibilities

• Identify and develop new opportunities for commercial-scale PV and storage projects in the C&I segment.

• Manage the full sales cycle—from lead qualification and technical discussions to proposal preparation, pricing, and deal closing.

• Provide consultative support by understanding customer energy needs, project requirements, ROI expectations, and regulatory considerations.

• Work with engineering, product, and operations teams to scope PV and storage solutions, ensuring technical feasibility and accurate proposals.

• Maintain an active and well-structured pipeline, with regular reporting on forecasts, opportunities, and market activity.

• Represent the company at solar industry events, conferences, and customer visits.

• Support market expansion by identifying new verticals, customer types, or regional growth opportunities.

• Assist in the preparation of RFP/RFI responses and commercial offers for mid-sized solar and storage projects.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in PV, renewable energy, or B2B technical sales—ideally within the C&I solar or energy storage market.

• Experience managing a complete sales process and closing C&I-level PV or energy solutions deals.

• Good understanding of commercial PV systems, storage solutions, energy procurement, and customer decision-making processes.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal engineering and product teams.

• Proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.

• Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage.

• Willing to have business trips mainly across UK & Ireland.

What we offer

• Unique opportunity to join a truly diverse, international, ambitious and rapidly growing GoodWe European based team.

• Excellent professional and personal development opportunities in a rapidly growing leading photovoltaic company.

• Passionate work environment with flat hierarchies and fast decision-making.

• Have fun and do something meaningful that will make a difference!
