Regional Business Development Manager – Europe / Asia
Responsible for driving European revenue growth of ACC Aerospace Products and Filter Connectors, developing and executing annual sales plans, and championing the execution of sales programs and initiatives. Due to the nature of this position, the successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-confident individual with a neat, well-dressed and professional appearance. The job requires significant people contact and pressure to increase design wins and sales growth.
What does a Regional Business Development Manager do?
· Travel with salespeople to increase business level, particularly in Europe & Asia
· Approximately 50-75% travel with salespeople to increase the business level
· Monitor design-in opportunities, quotes and significant orders
· Responsible for all reporting, Orders, quotes, forecast, etc. Within the territory
· Responsible for all quote/order activity, including cost/margin analysis
· Responsible for driving ACC-Aerospace focus with the European sales teams
· Liaise with customers, the sales force, and ACC Marketing to provide technical solutions
· Work closely with the distribution and salespeople, internal/external customers, & product marketing team
· Coordinate visits with Salesforce and expand the customer base
· Report on activities
What you bring to the table
Must have:
· Post Secondary education or equivalent
· 3+ years of experience in a technical sales or marketing role within the filter connector industry
· Experience with Cost/Margin Analysis
· Excellent report writing, presentation & time management skills
· Must be self-motivated with a team player attitude
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to work under pressure
· Strong commend of the English language required. In addition, French speaking (preferred)
· Familiarity working with sales rep companies and direct sales organizations that are shared within a company (preferred)
Preference is for the position to be located in Europe or Asia. However, consideration will be given to local candidates if willing to travel internationally up to 50-75% of the time.
The base salary for this position is up to 70k GBP annually. In determining the rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role. Base salary is one facet of Amphenol’s total rewards package which includes participation in our comprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, life insurance, short/long term disability, and membership in our Defined Contribution Pension Plan. Our employees are also eligible for participation in an annual incentive bonus program based on their position.
