Role: National Account Manager
Location: North based (hybrid)
Salary: up to £60,000 + bonus!!
Ready to take your grocery account management career to the next level? We’re looking for a commercially driven National Account Manager to lead and grow our clients Top 4 UK grocery accounts Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, and Morrisons, alongside other key UK supermarket customers.
This is a high-impact role for a relationship-builder and strategic thinker who thrives in the FMCG grocery environment. You’ll own the commercial agenda across your accounts, driving growth, strengthening partnerships, and delivering best-in-class execution in store and online.
- Own Top Grocery Accounts:
Lead the day-to-day management and long-term strategy for the Top 4 grocers plus additional UK supermarket accounts, building strong senior-level relationships.
- Drive Sales & Growth:
Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs), promotional strategies, range reviews, and category growth plans to maximise revenue, distribution, and visibility.
- Negotiate & Deliver Commercial Targets:
Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, promotions, NPD launches, and annual terms agreements to deliver against volume, value, and profit targets.
- Forecast & Analyse:
Manage forecasting, promotional planning, and P&L accountability. Analyse sales performance, identify risks and opportunities, and adjust plans to stay ahead of market trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, supply chain, finance, and category teams to ensure seamless execution across all grocery accounts.
What You Need:
- 3+ years of experience in account management or sales, preferably grocery focused
- Strong relationship-building skills and a knack for closing deals.
- Experience working with national retailers and understanding retail processes.
- Sales-driven, strategic thinker with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- A passion for the beauty industry and deep knowledge of consumer trends.
- Experience with e-commerce sales or digital retail strategies.
