Direct Sales Executive

South of England Patch | London Hybrid (3 days office-based)

£28,000 Basic + 40% OTE + Spot Bonuses


The opportunity


We’re partnering with a leading media owner looking to hire a driven Direct Sales Executive to join their growing Audio commercial team.


This is a 90% new business role focused on winning new clients across the South of England. You’ll be targeting businesses currently investing in platforms like Facebook and other digital channels, introducing them to the power of digital audio and multi-platform advertising solutions.


If you enjoy hunting, opening doors and building something properly, this role gives you the platform to do exactly that.


The role


You’ll take ownership of a defined South of England patch, proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities. The focus is on bringing new brands on board and demonstrating how digital audio can enhance and diversify their marketing strategy.


While the role is heavily weighted toward new business (90%), you will also manage and grow both existing accounts within your patch and the new clients you win — building long-term, repeat revenue relationships.


You’ll be selling digital audio solutions as part of a wider multi-platform offering, giving you credibility and flexibility in market conversations.


What you’ll be doing


• Proactively generating new business across your South of England territory

• Managing and developing existing clients within your patch

• Growing and retaining the new business accounts you bring on board

• Targeting businesses currently spending on paid social and digital platforms

• Introducing digital audio as a powerful, measurable advertising channel

• Managing your pipeline, forecasting accurately and delivering against revenue targets

• Building strong relationships with business owners and marketing decision-makers

• Working closely with internal teams to deliver effective campaigns


What we’re looking for


• A proven track record in sales (any sector considered)

• Confidence generating new business and managing accounts

• Resilience, drive and a strong work ethic

• Commercial awareness and curiosity

• A desire to build a long-term career in media and advertising


Media sales experience is not required. If you can sell, build relationships and stay motivated in a target-driven environment, full product and market training will be provided.


Progression


This role offers a clear development pathway. High performers are expected to step into a Business Development Manager position within 12 months, with increased responsibility and earning potential.


Package


• £28,000 basic salary

• 40% OTE
