About the role:
Envision offers a comprehensive total solution for clean energy, which spans generation, storage, and software. We are a leading company in the development of advanced wind turbines and energy storage systems, as well as software solutions that are capable of managing energy assets on a global scale. This is a high-level technical role within Envision Energy’s Future Grid Centre of Excellence.
This role is expected to provide the necessary technical expertise and work with various stakeholders to:
- Assess the products and models’ compliance against the Grid Code requirement.
- Lead a team of engineers with the aim of providing grid studies for connection of Wind farms and BESS projects.
- Understand the future trends and requirements in the grid connection space.
- Play a key role in expanding the technical knowledge of the team.
- Solve Complex technical project specific challenges.
Competence:
- Act as a core competence center to develop operation rules and establish management system for on and off-grid business.
- Act as an enabler to establish the evaluation standards, tools, and methods for on and off-grid’s system design and analysis.
- Act as a Power Grid solution center for global business expansion.
- Lead to develop competitive localized solutions and support on the business expansion of Net Zero Industrial Park, wind turbine/ energy storage in European and Global market.

- Enable Envision to become a champion in global smart grid field with top-tier operation technology and well-rounded management system.
- Enable Envision to become a leading equipment and system solution provider in Global renewable energy market.
Key Responsibilities:
Grid Integration Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategies for the efficient and reliable integration of Envision Energy’s WTG and BESS
- Stay informed and drive the evolving grid connection technologies, standards, and regulations.
Team Management:
- Support Envision in the recruitment of new talents.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in grid connection space and toward development of new products.
- Address complex technical challenges related to on-grid and off-grid projects.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure that Envision Energy products comply with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements in key markets.
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs teams to navigate and address compliance issues.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with European grid operators, and regulatory bodies to support projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in grid integration and product development.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering;
- 7+ years of experience in grid connection engineering, Network planning and operation particularly in the renewable energy sector.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical grid systems, power system stability, and grid codes.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and address compliance challenges.
