Consultant Histopathologist

We are currently recruiting an experienced Consultant Histopathologist to support an NHS service in Northampton.

This is an on-site position requiring a confident and autonomous consultant who can report independently and contribute fully to the histopathology service.

About the Role

• Deliver consultant-level histopathology reporting
• Independently review and report a broad range of histopathology specimens
• Provide expert diagnostic opinions and clinical advice
• Work collaboratively with clinical teams and MDTs
• Support safe, efficient laboratory and diagnostic services

This is a fully on-site role in Northampton. Remote working is not available.

Essential Requirements

• Full GMC registration with Licence to Practise
• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Histopathology
• Ability to report and work independently at consultant level
• Strong diagnostic expertise and clinical judgement
• Excellent communication and MDT working skills
