About Nets4You

Nets4You designs and supplies bespoke industrial, safety, and restraint netting solutions across the UK.

Our products are used in construction, transport (rail & underground), logistics, aviation, and specialist vehicle conversions, where safety, durability, and specification are critical.

Inbound enquiries are managed by our office team. This role focuses on proactively generating and developing new B2B business and building long-term customer relationships.


The Role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager with experience in technical B2B sales. You will identify opportunities, open doors, and develop profitable accounts across regulated and safety-critical environments.


This is not a retail or inbound sales role.


Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify and develop new B2B customers in:

  • Construction & infrastructure
  • Transport (rail, underground, fleet operators)
  • Facilities management
  • Logistics & specialist vehicle conversions
  • Build and manage a personal pipeline of qualified leads
  • Arrange and lead discovery calls, technical discussions, and site visits
  • Work with internal teams to define specifications and quotations
  • Close profitable, margin-disciplined deals
  • Develop repeat business and long-term customer relationships
  • Support controlled expansion into:
  • Institutional sports netting (schools, councils, facilities)
  • Selected EU B2B markets
This Role Does Not Involve
  • Handling inbound enquiries
  • Consumer or retail sales
  • High-volume cold calling
  • Discount-led selling
About You

Essential

  • Proven B2B business development experience
  • Comfortable generating your own leads and opening doors
  • Experience selling physical, technical, or industrial products
  • Confidence dealing with regulated or safety-critical environments
  • Commercially disciplined and margin-aware
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • UK-based with right to work


Desirable

  • Background in construction products, transport, safety equipment, industrial materials, or vehicle conversions
  • Experience working with contractors, engineers, or facilities managers
Commission & Incentives
