North America Claims Broker

Salary - up to £42,500 plus discretionary bonus

London/ hybrid (4 days office/ Friday WFH)

An opportunity is now available with a leading global specialty insurance broker and top 10 contributor to Lloyd’s. This role sits within a well-established North American team specialising in US Binder business, predominantly Financial Lines.

The Opportunity

You will report directly to a highly experienced market professional with over 20 years’ tenure, acting as his only direct report. The position is structured as a genuine development role with clear progression into a fully market-facing Claims Broker.

The Role

Initially, responsibilities will focus on operational and technical claims handling, including: Managing and processing the team mailbox, Uploading and managing claims via ECF, logging and triaging new claims and supporting workflow.

As you develop, you will:

• Handle claims cradle to grave, build direct client relationships, gain Lloyd’s market exposure, develop strong broker and underwriter contacts, progress into a fully market-facing position
• The portfolio consists primarily Financial Lines but is open to any product background experience.

Experience Required

• 2 to 3 years’ London Market experience (ideal second-jobber)
• Essential: Binder experience
• Essential: ECF/ London market systems
• Background from Broker, MGA, or 3rd party considered
• Suitable for a Claims Processor looking to step up, or a Claims Broker seeking clearer progression
