Job description
About Arrival
Arrival is building the infrastructure for moving properties. We make utilities and rent collection seamless for operators and fair for residents. We're working with some of the UK's leading BTR operators and letting agents to solve the biggest pain points in property management - void billing, resident utilities, and rent collection.
We're a small, ambitious team solving real problems. If you want to do serious work that actually makes a difference, this is the place.
We only have one principle. Honesty. Can you be honest with yourself? To Clients? To colleagues and customers? We can't change a broken industry by mirroring the behaviours that broke it in the first place. Be better than what you see around you and hold everyone to the standards we expect.
The Role
We're looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the letting agent sector. You'll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and onboarding letting agents to the Arrival platform - showing them how we can reduce their admin burden, improve their resident experience, and generate additional revenue.
This isn't a traditional sales role. You'll be building genuine partnerships with agents who are frustrated with the current options and want something better.
What You'll Do
Identify and build relationships with letting agents across the UK
Understand their operational challenges and demonstrate how Arrival solves them
Run product demos and close deals with decision-makers
Work closely with our operations team to ensure smooth onboarding
Gather feedback from agents to help shape our product roadmap
Build a repeatable sales process as we scale
Hit and exceed growth targets
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience in sales or business development, ideally in proptech, property management, or SaaS
- Understanding of how letting agents operate (or willingness to learn fast)
- Proven track record of building relationships and closing deals
- Self-starter who can work autonomously and build their own pipeline
- Excellent communication skills - you can explain complex concepts simply
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
Nice to Have:
- Existing network within the letting agent community
- Experience selling to property professionals
- Understanding of utilities, compliance, or rent collection challenges
- Experience in early-stage startups
What You'll Get
- Competitive salary + commission structure
- Equity in a fast-growing company
- Autonomy to build and own the letting agent channel
- Work directly with founders
- Opportunity to shape the future of sales operations
