Sales Manager | VC-Backed Tech Startup | Central London

We are hiring a Sales Manager to join a fast-growing, VC-backed tech startup based in Central London at a really exciting point in their journey.

Backed by a top-tier European fund with serious pedigree, this business is solving a genuinely massive problem in a market that has been underserved for decades. They have already picked up major industry awards and are scaling fast across the UK and internationally.

The Role

This is a true player-coach position and a genuine opportunity for someone ready to take that next step into leadership. You will manage a team of AEs and BDRs/SDRs while carrying your own quota and closing deals yourself. If you have been performing consistently as a senior seller and are ready to lead, this is the role that gets you there.

What You Will Be Doing

• Leading, coaching and performance managing a team of AEs and BDRs/SDRs
• Setting weekly priorities, activity standards and pipeline targets across the team
• Running 1:1s, call coaching, deal reviews and structured feedback loops
• Personally owning a portion of opportunities from discovery through to close
• Stepping into late stage deals to handle complex objections and drive urgency
• Building and iterating playbooks for outbound, discovery, qualification and negotiation
• Maintaining disciplined forecasting, CRM hygiene and pipeline governance
• Recruiting and ramping new hires as the team scales

What We Are Looking For

• A strong individual contributor who is ready to make the move into management
• Consistent quota performance and a natural ability to bring people up around you
• Someone who has informally led, mentored or coached peers and is ready to do it properly
• SaaS or tech sales experience preferred
• You do not need to have managed a team before, but you need to be ready to
