Senior BMS Commissioning Engineer – London

£65,000 – £80,000 basic + excellent benefits

I’m currently working with a leading engineering specialist who is looking to appoint an experienced Senior BMS Commissioning Engineer to support a strong pipeline of projects across London and the South East.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commissioning engineer with solid BMS experience to step into a senior role, working on high-profile projects with a business that values technical expertise and career progression.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for commissioning BMS systems across a range of projects, ensuring systems are delivered, tested, and fully operational to specification.

Key duties include:

• Commissioning BMS systems (HVAC, lighting, integrations) across multiple sites
• Testing, validation, and optimisation of system performance
• Fault finding and resolving commissioning issues
• Supporting installation teams and subcontractors with technical expertise
• Ensuring seamless integration with wider building services
• Producing commissioning documentation and progress reports
• Carrying out final inspections and ensuring QA and safety standards are met

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience commissioning BMS systems
• Strong working knowledge of Trend, Tridium, Schneider or Siemens
• Experience working within building management systems environments
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage workload across multiple projects

Certifications:

• Trend, Tridium, Delta, Distech or Schneider certification (essential)
• BCIA 01, 02 & 03 (minimum)
• Electrical safety awareness
