Bring your energy to Aggreko as an OFA Technician (Field based) based in Doncaster. As an OFA Technician you will be responsible for the turnaround, maintenance and repairs of the OFA fleet in the depot to make it ready for hire again within the requirements and standards.

What you’ll do as a OFA Technician:

  • Upon return of fleet from hire, ensure all assets are inspected and made ready for hire or moved into correct service/repair status for additional works to be completed.
  • Carrying out maintenance and repair work in accordance with company guidelines and/or in consultation with suppliers.
  • Inspecting and resolving faults and if required, customizing the sets according to customer specifications
  • Support with HSB inspections and replacement of Pressure relief valves (PRV’s) and ensure equipment is compliant with legislation(s).
  • Any support for the Operational business specifically focused on OFA. This can be done remotely and/or on-site if required.
  • Keeping track of service appointment, maintenance and work reports.


You are:

  • Technical capability with a City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent (in relevant field)
  • Must hold a full, clean and valid driving license
  • Experience with OFA, compressors Fleet and electrical & mechanical repairs. Technical ability - able to understand and learn about a wider range of products and applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills - communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of, practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment
  • Flexibility with a willingness to travel
