Construction Manager – Civils
Leiston, Suffolk | Sizewell C | Major Infrastructure
We are looking for a Construction Manager – Civils to support site delivery at Sizewell C. Reporting to the Senior Construction Delivery Manager, you will oversee construction activities, logistics coordination and contractor performance within your allocated section of works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support contractors in safe and efficient package delivery
- Oversee construction sequencing & recovery planning
- Monitor site progress and escalate issues through structured reporting
- Coordinate with H&S, Project Controls, Logistics & Commercial teams
- Undertake safety & assurance inspections
- Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations
- Support mitigation of safety and quality risks
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent experience in Civil/Construction Management
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure or nuclear construction
- Strong understanding of sequencing, resource allocation & site coordination
- SMSTS or IOSH preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
