Bring your energy to Aggreko as a BESS Technician based in Widnes. As a BESS Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all fleet is made ready for hire, through turnarounds, repairs and maintenance. This includes any upgrades, retrofits and modifications to support customer requirements.

What you’ll do as a BESS Technician:
- Upon return of any fleet, carry out a post contract assessment to determine what level of work is required and ensure correct status of the asset.
- Carrying out maintenance and repair work in accordance with company guidelines and/or in consultation with suppliers.
- Inspecting, verifying and resolving faults and if required, customizing the sets according to customer specifications
- Any support for the Operational business specifically focused on BESS. This can be done remotely and/or on-site if desired.
- Ensure all service appointments and documentation is up to date including the completion of FSL/ATA reports for each asset.
You are:
- Experience with BESS Fleet and electrical repairs. Technically interested - able to understand and learn about a wider range of products and applications.
- Technical capability with a City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent (in relevant field)
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills - communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of stakeholders (internal and external)
- Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications
- Maintain thorough knowledge of, practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment
- Flexibility with a willingness to travel
