We are seeking a hands-on Project Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing, process development, and continuous improvement—ideally with experience in polyurethane-based processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support manufacturing projects from concept through to implementation.
  • Develop and optimize production processes, with a focus on polyurethane systems.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, and Production.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide engineering support on the shop floor.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives through lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Prepare technical documentation, project reports, and process validation protocols.


What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in process development and improvement.
  • Experience working with polyurethane materials or systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Strong communication and project management abilities.

This role is ideal for an engineer looking to build strong manufacturing and project experience rather than focus purely on design.


Salary: £30,000 – £40,000

Location: On-site (UK)

Contract: Permanent (contract engineers also considered)
