An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineer to play a key role in developing the next generation of a highly successful land system product range used in military vehicles across the globe.

This role would suit a strong technical leader with good commercial awareness who can lead a small team from initial research stages to the delivery of the product itself.

The Role

The Design Authority will quickly develop an understanding of the products, markets and competition, before selecting key technologies aligned with a clear view of future architecture and leading a small team to create plans, risk registers and technical solutions for the new product. You will work closely with other teams to create business cases for the product and ultimately launch and deliver the products to market.

Requirements

The role requires a commercially astute Design Authority with a background in Systems Engineering on complex products, possessing experience in Software, Firmware and Electronics, ideally for harsh environments. The team is looking for a creative leader with good problem solving skills who can manage the development lifecycle from research to release.

Security Clearance

SC Clearance is required for this role.
