Senior IC Design Engineer
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Senior Analogue IC Design Engineer to join our New Product Engineering team. This is a hands-on role focused on the design, implementation and verification of analogue and mixed-signal IC sub-systems for advanced communication devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop analogue/RF blocks including filters, bias circuits, bandgap references, fractional-N PLLs, dividers, high-speed multiplexers and power management circuits
- Deliver innovative high-performance ICs using SiGe and CMOS technologies
- Produce detailed design documentation and support product evaluation
- Contribute to ASIC characterisation and collaborate with multi-site test teams
- Support test plan development and silicon validation
About You:
- Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant discipline (or strong industrial track record)
- 5+ years’ IC design experience
- Strong knowledge of analogue/RF fundamentals: mismatch, noise, linearity, stability
- Experience designing PTAT, bandgap, VGA, TIA, PLL, filters, or related baseband modules
- Proven silicon success in SiGe Bipolar and CMOS technologies
- Proficient with Cadence Virtuoso and IC layout techniques
- Understanding of DFM and ESD protection
You will be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, strong technical ownership, and a passion for delivering right-first-time silicon.
We can offer hybrid working and a salary of up to £75,000 DOE + benefits.
