Quality Control Technician
Location: Telford
Full Time | Permanent
Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with experience in quality control? We are looking for a proactive Quality Control Technician to join an innovative construction materials manufacturer.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will be expected to:
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
- Perform mechanical and physical testing on client products
- Conduct quality tests on returned samples and customer complaints to identify and then document issues
- Maintain detailed records of testing, non-conformances, and raw materials.
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist the R&D team with formulation work, product testing, and certification.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
What You’ll Bring
Essential
- Previous experience working in an industrial lab setting performing quality tests on construction related materials.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
