Datatech Analytics is supporting a leading UK consulting and technology organisation as they continue to grow their secure data engineering capability across defence and national security.

We are exclusively seeking active DV-cleared Data Engineers who want to work on genuinely mission-critical programmes, building secure, production-grade data platforms that enable operational and strategic decision-making.

The Opportunity

You will design, build, and operate end-to-end data pipelines within highly secure environments, working on modern cloud and distributed data platforms.

This is hands-on engineering, delivery-led, and focused on building resilient systems that run reliably in production.

What you will be doing

• Building scalable data pipelines across ingestion, transformation, and consumption
• Working with structured and unstructured data from secure sources
• Implementing data quality, governance, and security controls
• Contributing to engineering standards and secure DevOps practices
• Delivering robust, cloud-based data solutions at scale

Tech Environment

• Python, SQL, Spark
• AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Databricks, Snowflake
• Modern data lake and warehouse architectures
• Automation and DevOps tooling

Requirements

• Active DV clearance, mandatory
• Strong experience building production data pipelines
• Cloud data engineering expertise
• Experience within defence, government, or classified environments is highly desirable

Hybrid working, typically two days onsite in London or Manchester
