Pre-Sales Software Engineer | Leeds (Hybrid – 2 days onsite) | Up to £80,000 + Bonus

This role sits at the intersection of consulting, engineering and AI strategy, helping organisations explore how modern software, cloud platforms and emerging AI technologies can solve complex business problems.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and delivery teams to define technical approaches, validate ideas through Proof of Concepts, and ensure solutions are commercially viable, technically sound and aligned with business outcomes.

With demand for AI-driven transformation and intelligent platforms rapidly growing, they’re expanding their consulting capability and looking for a Senior Software Consultant to help shape and scope future client engagements.

What You'll Be Doing

• Running technical discovery workshops with client stakeholders

• Helping organisations define AI and technology strategies

• Designing solution architectures across modern cloud platforms

• Building Proof of Concepts to validate ideas and technical feasibility

• Providing technical due diligence on systems, delivery approaches and risk

• Translating technical solutions into clear business value and commercial cases

Technical Focus & What We’re Looking For

• Strong software engineering or architecture background

• Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS also welcome)

• Interest or experience in AI-enabled solutions and Large Language Models (LLMs)

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior and non-technical stakeholders

• Commercial awareness around project feasibility, cost and delivery risk
