Engineering Manager - Food Manufacturing

We’re recruiting for an Engineering Manager for a high-volume, 24/7 food manufacturing operation running and supplying all major UK retailers.

It’s fast, demanding, and highly accountable. We need leaders who thrive in that.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading teams of 8–10 engineers
• Driving uptime, performance, and engineering standards
• Managing within a 4 on 4 off days pattern (typically 7 am - 7 pm)
• Stepping up when needed, late stays, and operational support

This is a management role, not on the tools. You’ll need to build strong teams, hold standards, and deliver in a high-pressure environment.

Ideal background:

• Large-scale food manufacturing
• Used to volume, pace, and retailer expectations
• Resilient, decisive, and hands-on in leadership style

Slow-paced environments won’t translate here. This suits someone who enjoys intensity and operational responsibility.
