Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a DataWarehouse Quality Assurance Engineer , on behalf of a well known company in the insurance industry.

Job Role

The Data Warehouse Quality Assurance Engineer (QE) ensures that all data-related solutions meet quality standards before deployment. This role focuses on validating data integrity, accuracy, and compliance within the data warehouse environment.

The role is responsible for:

• Requirements Analysis:
• Understand business and technical requirements to design effective test strategies.
• Test Planning & Execution:
• Create detailed test scenarios and scripts for ETL processes, data transformations, and reporting layers.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source and target systems.
• Automation & Regression:
• Build automated test packs for regression testing of data pipelines.
• Implement tools for continuous testing in CI/CD workflows.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with Data Engineers and Analysts to ensure proper coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Support Business UAT and liaise with stakeholders for sign-off.
• Defect Management:
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.

Requirements for this position:

• Previous experience in data-focused QA engineer roles within London Market insurance (including Lloyds of London)
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern data pipelines.
• Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
