Connected MedTech is delighted to leading the search for a National Sales Manager position on behalf of a leading global manufacturer of medical devices.


The role is a first-line Management position and has responsibility for a team of approximately 8 sales professionals across the UK. We are looking for someone to lead and inspire the sales team and be a key point of contact for KOLs across the industry. It is a highly visible role in the field and will involve national (and occasional international) travel.


We are seeking to engage with highly credible sales management professionals with experience across medical devices, optics, dental or veterinary markets, ideally with experience across both NHS and private healthcare markets. We are looking for a hands-on, leadership professional who is comfortable operating alongside colleagues on territory, offering support, coaching and guidance in order to optimise performance across the teams.


Key skills required:


  • A thorough approach to the sales process with each member of the sales team is essential for success in this role.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to leverage market insights to develop and execute localized commercial strategies.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in market analysis, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the company effectively in public forums and media engagements.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work closely with regional teams to ensure alignment and leverage best practices.
  • Customer Focus: A thorough approach to understanding and addressing customer needs and pains, providing effective business solutions
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
  • 3+ years experience in a sales leadership role with demonstrable success.
