Presales Engineer IT/OT Network Infrastructure – Process Industry (m/f/d)

Our client is a global technology leader in connectivity and network infrastructure solutions for industrial environments. To support continued growth in the process industry sector, we are currently looking for a Presales Engineer IT/OT Network Infrastructure (m/f/d).

In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, working closely with sales teams to design and deliver outcome-driven network infrastructure solutions across complex industrial environments.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver outcome-based solutions leveraging the full portfolio of the company’s connectivity and networking technologies
• Support sales teams in customer engagements and contribute to pipeline growth and higher win rates
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, translating technical solutions into clear business value and measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with innovation teams on Proof of Concepts (POCs), Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), and network audits
• Contribute to market visibility by supporting webinars, roadshows, trade fairs, and technology campaigns
• Provide market insights to sales, product management, and R&D to support future solutions and vertical market strategies

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Networking, or Automation
• Around 5+ years of experience in industrial networking environments, ideally within the process industry (e.g. Chemical, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, water & waste treatment)
• Proven track record in presales, consulting, or technical service roles supporting industrial customers
• Strong understanding of IT/OT network infrastructure, including passive components such as cables, connectors, and related hardware for industrial environments
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent English communication skills
