G10 Rates Sales – Hedge Funds | London


A leading European Investment Bank is seeking to hire a G10 Rates Sales professional to join its London-based team. This role will focus on developing and managing relationships with hedge fund clients, delivering market insights and executing rates products across the G10 spectrum. The position can be filled at mid to senior level depending on experience and will suit candidates with 5–15 years’ experience in rates sales, trading or related markets. The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative platform offering strong product capabilities, deep liquidity and a dynamic client franchise. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with hedge fund clients, providing market colour, trade ideas and execution across G10 rates products.

• Drive revenue generation through the distribution of rates derivatives and cash products including government bonds, interest rate swaps and related structures.

• Work closely with trading, structuring and research teams to deliver tailored solutions aligned with client investment strategies.

• Identify new client opportunities and deepen existing relationships to expand the hedge fund franchise.

• Maintain a strong understanding of global macro developments, central bank policy and rates market dynamics to inform client engagement.

• Ensure all client activity is conducted in accordance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and best market practice.


Key Requirements

• 5–15 years’ experience in rates sales, macro sales or a related role within an investment bank or financial institution.

• Demonstrated experience covering hedge fund clients with strong commercial and relationship management capabilities.

• Solid understanding of G10 rates markets including government bonds, swaps and related derivatives.

• Strong communication and client engagement skills with the ability to translate complex market views into actionable ideas.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced trading floor environment while collaborating across multiple internal teams.
