Location: Larbert, Scotland

Pay Rate: £26.41 per hour

Contract: 12 Weeks (ASAP Start)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00


Sanctuary Personnel is recruiting for a Band 5 Radiographer job in Larbert for a 12-week NHS locum contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HCPC registered Radiographer seeking a full-time Radiography job in Scotland within a busy district general hospital setting.

About the Band 5 Radiographer Role

This General X-Ray Radiographer job involves delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging across emergency and elective services. You will work within a fully digital Radiology department using Philips equipment, covering both in-department imaging and mobile radiography.

This is a varied NHS Radiography contract with exposure to outpatient, inpatient, and emergency imaging pathways, making it ideal for a confident and competent General Radiographer.


Key Responsibilities – Radiographer Job Duties

  • Perform General X-ray imaging for Outpatients (OP), Inpatients (IP), GP referrals, and Emergency Department (ED)
  • Undertake mobile radiography across wards and clinical areas
  • Provide theatre radiography support using Philips digital systems
  • Deliver imaging for both emergency and planned procedures
  • Maintain high standards of patient care, radiation safety, and image quality
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary NHS team
  • Theatre Imaging Experience

    This Band 5 Radiographer vacancy includes theatre work across:

    • Trauma
    • Urology
    • Orthopaedics
    • General Surgery


    There are no specialist imaging requirements. This is a district general hospital environment with active theatres, an Emergency Department, and daily outpatient clinics, ideal for a Radiographer experienced in general diagnostic imaging.


    Requirements

    To be considered for this Radiographer job in Larbert, you must have:

    • HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer
    • Recent NHS experience in General X-ray
    • Experience covering OP, IP, GP, and ED imaging
    • Confidence with mobile radiography and theatre imaging
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to work independently within a busy Radiology department
