Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Services Division are supporting our client as they experience huge growth within the Industrial Refrigeration and Gas sector throughout several regions within the UK.

They provide excellent service to their clients and have grown organically, winning more contracts and work due to their approach, quality of work and technical support.

They are now seeking talented and hands-on ammonia-qualified Industrial Refrigeration & Gas Engineers to join the company, servicing a regional patch of engaged and loyal clients, combining engineering and technical support.

Regions: Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, and Yorkshire

Salary: From £52,000 per year + Company vehicle + private healthcare + holidays + overtime + call out (rota)

Key Responsibilities for the Industrial Refrigeration & Gas Engineer include:

- Service, maintenance, and repair of industrial refrigeration and gas systems.

- Specialist work on ammonia systems, including safe handling, charging, and leak detection.

- Diagnose and resolve faults on compressors, evaporators, condensers, and controls.

- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and attend breakdowns.

- Complete service documentation and compliance records.

- Provide remote and on-site technical support.

- Assist with root cause investigations and support junior engineers.

Qualifications and Experience for the Industrial Refrigeration & Gas Engineer include:

- Ammonia Handling Certification (City & Guilds or equivalent).

- Strong experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems.

- Industrial refrigeration engineering background.

- Full UK driving licence.

- CO2 (R744) and HFC system experience.

- F-Gas Category 1 qualification.

- Electrical and control system knowledge.
