The Role

You will spend most of your time visiting stores across the UK franchise network, conducting unannounced audits, coaching teams, and working closely with franchise partners to drive brand standards and operational excellence.

This is not a pure audit role. While auditing is a key part of the job, the real value lies in coaching teams, influencing franchise partners, and improving operational performance across the network.

You will be part of a lean Operations Excellence team with direct exposure to senior leadership.

  • Coaching & Development: coach store managers and teams during visits to improve operational standards, strengthen processes, and drive better performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with franchise partners and Franchise Business Managers to align on expectations and address compliance gaps.
  • Operational Improvement: Identify recurring operational issues and support improvements to processes, training, and standards across the network.

You must have

  • 5+ years’ experience managing a high volume QSR restaurant
  • Experience in a major QSR brand
  • Exposure to projects outside day-to-day operations, such as: covering for an Area Manager, supporting new store openings, leading training initiatives or operational improvement projects, participating in brand audits or compliance programs
  • Strong coaching and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to influence franchise partners and drive standards

Most importantly, you are someone who understands operations deeply and enjoys helping teams improve.
